Writing Retreat Agenda
8:00 AM - 8:45 AM: Each day starts with movement. Attendees are encouraged to start each day with an outdoor walk or indoor yoga/stretching session before enjoying a nutritious breakfast at 9:00am.
9:00 AM - 9:45 AM: Breakfast. All meals are prepared for you! Imagine how much writing you will get done without having to think about meals or dishes or taking care of anyone but yourself!
At 10:00 AM we start our first writing timeblock. Silence is mandatory during this time each day. A self-serve soup, sandwich and salad bar is available anytime between 12 and 1. Silence must be maintained until 2:00pm, but I'll be available to whisper guidance and ideas if needed.
2:00 PM - 5:30 PM: Continue Writing -OR- Offer & Ask For Feedback. Anyone who would like feedback and suggestions is invited to bundle up and come out to the fire pit to be inspired and encouraged. And I'll be spending 30 minutes with each writer 1:1 to lend my creativity to their ideas and projects.
6:00 PM: Dinner
7:00 PM - 8:00 PM: FemAuthors Mastermind. After our delicious dinner I'll lead a Mastermind Session to reflect on and celebrate new creative ideas. This is a time to be grateful for our inner wisdom and to go inward to discover what is waiting to be created. Quiet writing time is encouraged after 8pm, but feel free to enjoy low-volume conversations until lights out at 10:00pm.
